Hifi’s mission is to inspire, promote, and sustain an integrated fashion community in Hawai‘i. Until recently, Hifi events were housed in temporary pop-up spaces. Unleash Studio volunteered for this great project and collaborated with Hifi, Retail Therapy and Collaborative Design Workshop in the beginning stages of designing and constructing a space that will become Hifi’s first home. Serving the dual function of educational workshop and retail venue, the new space promises to become a hub for Hawaii’s fast growing fashion community. Unleash created concept sketches for the space and participated in the building of a basic modular rack system and fitting room made of old recycled doors.
